REGARDING WEDNESDAY AUGUST 13, 2025 PLEASE READ!!!!
Gentlemen:
Prior to getting into reminders for the end of the regular season, here are some notes that will be happening at the course for Wednesday August 13th:
1. There will be tournement happening at the course prior to and upon your arrival.
2. We have been asked to show up at the course no earlier than 430pm.
3. There will be no early/practice rounds due to the tournament.
4. We will have access to the driving range; however, it will be extremely busy so we will be in the "First Come First Serve" situation.
5. There will be crowding for parking spaces.
6. All league check in will happen inside the restaurant area, so please do not access the pavillion at the beginning of the round.
7. Hopefully at the conclusion of our league round we will be able to access the pavillion; however, do not expect it and be prepared to do all calculations inside the restaurant.
8. EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please be patient and gracious with all Silver Creek Golf Course staff, access to carts, parking, facilities, everything that is associated with the golf course, as everyone and everything with be congested and extremely busy. No complaining with be tolterated. We hope with all of your cooperation, Wednesday August 13, 2025 will run smoothly and you all will make the league proud to be associated with each and everyone of you. Please continue to be curtious, gracious and appreciative of what Silver Creek Golf Course provides to our league and please be the same to those that are participating in the tournament.
NOW LEAGUE REMINDERS:
1. Wednesday August 13, 2025 is our final regular season round.
2. Remember that players require 3 regular season rounds of play to qualify for the playoffs. So, if there is a player who is 1 round short for this requirement, Wednesday August 13 is the last chance to clear this qualification. If there is a number 1 or 2 beside your name in the overall standings, than is the number of rounds in which you have participated.
3. ONLY those names associated with a team on the Overall Stats data base for 2025 are those that are permitted to play for that team in the playoffs. If there is a player associated with 1 team and is documented on a different team, please inform one of the coordinators to correct the discremptency. If a team wishes to seek out a free agent to add to a team list, please have that clarified as well at the conclusion of August 13 round, at the latest.
4. The spare list will NOT be accessible to teams throughout the playoffs. However, for all the extra players that do show up, there will be a list so that you may still be able to participate during the playoff rounds.
5. The $5 specials will still be available throughout the round robin matches of the playoffs.
6. Playoff brackets will be as the following: 1-8 in each division will be placed in the "A" Championships; 9-12 in "B" Championships and 13 in "C" Division Championship.
7. Playoff Round Robin play will continue to be played for points, W - L - T will only be utilized to determine tie breakers. Tie breaker scenerios will be posted at golf course.
8. Playoff rounds will be played similar to regular season, only difference will be no spare list and no sharing of players. The names associated with teams are the only players permitted to play in playoffs for said team.
9. There are extremely close races in all scenerios; however, ONLY the playoff seedings will be calculated at the conclusion of the regular season round of play at the Silver Creek Golf Course. So, please be extremely diligent, neat and tidy with the calculations on the cards, even double count and check prior to delivering to the coordinators as the final standing calculations will be completed and posted on the playoff board at that time.
