League Meeting notes of April 24

SILVER CREEK MENS GOLF LEAGUE 2019
Welcome gentlemen, on behalf of Dana Boissoneau and Terry Williston (League Coordinators), we would like to wish everyone a fun and enjoyable season.
IMPORTANT DATES:
May 17: League registration fees due ($300 per team).
Paid too: golf course or League Coordinators. Checks payable to: SILVER CREEK MEN’S GOLF LEAGUE
May 22: Season Opener Team Scramble (League schedule random draw)
July 10: Mid-Season BBQ (Team registration fee covers 4 meals ONLY)
Additional meals will have to be pre-ordered two weeks in advance
August 28: Start of Playoffs (you can ONLY utilize those players registered to your team)
Sept 11 or 18: League Playoff Finals/Banquet (all dependant upon number of teams)

Important Notes:
Shot gun start time is at 5:30pm SHARP! Please be early to be ready to begin at this designated start time (IE: heading to your starting hole @ 5:15pm at the latest). After mid-season BBQ we will begin at 5:15pm SHARP!
Please keep your scorecard and sheets neat and complete with all of players’ information and properly filled out.
Score sheets must be signed by both teams (any scoring disagreements must be settled prior to handing into coordinators).
League weekly Round green fees: $27/week.
New world golf rules.
Senior age is 60+, which gives the league member the OPTION (not a rule) to utilize the forward tee.

SPECIALS (dependant upon the number of teams)
There will be ONLY one (1) signup sheet for all specials.
The specials will cost $5 for those who WISH to participate. $5 will cover 5 areas: (1) Lucky Draw, (2) NEW SKINS (Dana will explain), (3) & (4) the 2 skill shots and (5) Fun Fund (funds a cash prize for “B” final and an undetermined # team cash draws and the year-end banquet).

Year End Prizes
Regular season TEAM champs: names on a plaque and individual prizes
Regular season Individual Points leader: $100; Runner up: $50
Playoff “A” Division Champs: Team name on trophy + $400
Playoff “A” Division runner up: $200
Playoff “B” Division Champs: 40% of FUN FUND total
Playoff “B” Division Runner Up: 20% of FUN FUND total
Playoff “C” Division: to be determined

Playoff Format at the end of the 13 week season play (based on a maximum 18 team league)
“A” Division TOP 8 teams (1 through 8 FINAL league standings)
“B” Division NEXT 8 teams (9 through 16 FINAL league standings)
“C” Division Teams 17 and 18 through FINAL league standings
In case of ties:
1. Head to head match up (if played)
2. CAN set up an additional match (if teams choose)
3. Coin toss
Week 2 of the playoffs will be host to a 2 man scramble, 9 hole tournament, $5/player to enter, ALL cash given back out
Week 3: will be a team scramble for those teams eliminated (BANQUET NIGHT)
